Our Team

Laurent Rhéaume	Proven administrator. Has over 30 years experience in the textile industry. Has rendered and developed efficient and successful services to companies in areas such as training, staffing, continuous quality improvement and marketing, human resource and training. Well known across the country for his implication in the textile field as much for his work as for his availability in the textile associations. People refer today to Mr. Rhéaume for his knowledge of the Canadian Textile industry but also to benefit from his numerous contacts in this industry.
Jeanne Messier	Mrs. Messier joined Groupe Textile in September 2000 after holding, over the past 30 years, various positions such as: Human Resources Assistant, Assistant to the Plant Manager and Customer Service Supervisor for a textile industry in the Montérégie region. Owing to her previous work experience and considering her knowledge of this sector, Mrs. Messier is responsible for the business development aspect of Groupe Textile. She also assists Mr. Rhéaume in the selection and interview of candidates in the various recruitment mandates and registers all candidates.
André Deneault	Member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountant. Holds a Bachelor's degree in business administration (major in accounting) from the University of Sherbrooke. Has over 15 years experience in fiscal and financial planning, management, auditing, evaluation of internal accounting systems and costing.
Gérald Théroux	Holds a Bachelor's in education from the University of Montreal. Has over 12 years experience in personnel training management. In the past 3 years has regularly coordinated training programs for various companies in the textile industry.
Jacques Roy	Jacques Roy is holder of an MBA, with a major in management and finance from the Université de Sherbrooke and studied law as well at the Université de Montréal. President of CJRA Inc., a business development firm since 1979, Mr. Roy is a seasoned professional in business development, strategic management and business & project financing at the national and international level. Mr. Roy worked with major international financing institutions in more than 35 different countries over 4 continents (25 in Africa, 3 in Asia, 2 in Europe and 5 in Latin America) and with banks and financial institutions in Canada, U.S.A. & Europe. He also acted as administrator and consultant in small & medium-size companies in manufacturing and service and para-governmental institutions.
René Normand	Holder of a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a major in International Marketing & Management, Mr. Normand founded his company, Drakkar Marketing Global in 1998, which offers expert consulting services in the fields of industrial marketing, export marketing and the development of international projects to North American manufacturing firms. A versatile professional with 15 years practical experience in new product and market development at the national and international level, Mr. Normand is a bilingual consultant who understands today's marketing concepts: Internet, multimedia, publicity, creativity, production and planning. He has strong interpersonal and leadership skills and a good sense of organisation and anticipation. He is recognized as a determined and dynamic person capable of making the right decision and taking action.
Claude Arbour	Senior councillor since 1981, in the information technologies field. His expertise and experience resides mostly on development, database and operations support. Joined the Groupe Textile team a few years ago.
