Textile Technical Services

Groupe Textile has more or less become, over the years, the employment hub of the textile industry in Quebec and often in other Canadian provinces. We have accumulated since 1993, thousands of resumes of textile specialists, management and, let's call them, consultants.

Many of these specialists act, on request, as trainers or consultants. Others become independent entrepreneurs and Groupe Textile calls upon them for specific mandates.


Industrial Engineering

The most recent example we can relate to you is that of the company which wishes to install a new dyeing facility. The consultant we called upon is an early retired industrial engineer who has all the pertinent experience required to take this project in hand and he does it very well. Evaluation of the equipment in place, purchase of new equipment, layout, evaluation of needs for steam, electricity, assigning contracts and follow-up.


Training

Our specialist in Training Management who has been collaborating with Groupe Textile since 1998 in textile industries, can identify your training needs, develop a global training plan and specific programs, organize all the training stages and finally administer bill 90.


Coaching

Individual coaching or in groups, trainer, motivator, establishment of organizational structures, management by objectives, potential analysis, implementation of a continued improvement program...


Human resources

During these years, I think that we have been in contact with the most successful.

One of these established a business partnership with the Union Executive and internal consultation with the higher management and all the different departments of the same company.

However what I appreciate most from these people is no doubt their professionalism, their integrity, their sympathetic ear, their empathy, their respect for others and their sense of humour...


Customs

Our consultant has 30 years experience and is recognized in the ADCR. She is accredited by Emploi Québec to train your personnel on customs rules, import as well as export.

Personalized training based on your needs:

• Course on Harmonized Tariff classification for yarns, fabrics and clothing
  
• Course on NAFTA, rules of origin for textile, and certificate of origin
  
• Course on T.P.L. (quota with DFAIT) on import or export
  
• Course on Import Permit from DFAIT (export licence, requirements, etc.)
  

Textile Specialists

Evidently, this is the technical sector where we have accumulated the most resources and, it goes without saying that we have identified the best. Today with the help of computers, it is much easier to do researches with key words to highlight the specific knowledge of each of our specialists. We are still lacking some resources for more recent technologies but we are already working on this.

We are also more and more in contact with Europe and Asia to recruit other excellent specialists.
