SPECIALE EDITION

November 26th meeting: postponed

Major turnabout. The institutional partners who mandated GROUPE TEXTILE for a study on value-added technical textiles now disagree; some have even left the ad hoc committee. However, the activities of this committee are ongoing and we hope to remain on-line with you to deliver the information which will be published eventually . So, cross out that November 26th meeting from your agenda.. we were so close to succeed.. once again!


Opportunities

While textile industries are getting alarmed, with good reason I must say, due to the elimination on January 1st 2005 of all quotas on textile and apparel products, especially those from China, we at GROUPE TEXTILE are working on the opportunities which will be created. Yes, there will be opportunities and we have many to share with you; contact us and we will, very confidentially, examine China with you.


International

A new web page will be added to our site www.groupetextile.com . We wish to introduce to you some international leading figures who, because of their knowledge, their experience or their foreign residence, can contribute specialized expertise in very precise mandates you will give them. During this past year especially, experts from everywhere have contacted us, and we feel that their services should be used; whether it be for external market penetration, ideas or new concepts for ultra-sophisticated products, for developing niches, and what not. This page should be on line shortly, however, they are at your disposal right now.


Rectuitment

September 2003 was, in this particular sector, one of the busiest months in our history, and why? The quality of our candidates, our services, our understanding of your needs and our quick response time have certainly contributed to this. We have also recently added a few more interesting candidates on our web site.
